Hello! This is Mark.

Hi -- got it

Made the Bonaparte article, sort of. There could be many improvements: pictures, for one thing, and I want to indent Blanchard's own words. I rewrote it a bit, because the blog already "assumed" a familiarity by the time this was posted. I figured I'd better make it a "stand alone" story. So this will have to be edited. Feel free to tinker, if you'd like, of course!

Hi, Cathy! I don't see the Bonaparte article. Did you create it on this wiki?

Drat. Maybe I’ve published it somewhere else. Sigh.

No maybe it's there. Here's what I did: I didn't know I had to save it again after the CAPTCHA. I hate those things. I figured out how to indent -- I don't really have any pictures of my own to add. CJB's Wiki page has a photograph of Bella Vista and other pictures of the Bonapartes are all over; I'm just not sure what we're allowed to use.

"Now maybe it's there," I meant.

Note to self: Cheat sheet for formatting Wiki pages: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Cheatsheet

I see it! Yes, we should be careful with copyrighted images. When you click on the CJB Bella Vista photo and then MORE DETAILS, it takes you to the file's page. Copyright info is there. Public Domain! That means we can use it! In this case, we can simply download the file and then upload it to our Wiki. - Mark

Also, you can add signature and timestamp to the end of your message by clicking the button to the right of the italic format button.--Markhild-mym (talk) 16:28, 31 March 2020 (EDT)

04-11-2020: Hi; I thought I'd try to dress this article up, so I taught myself how to insert a photograph. I put in CJB; I'd wish I could make it smaller, perhaps, and center the text underneath, but that is learning for another day. I'm sure as this goes on, all formatting will come naturally. Also I could not understand your instruction as to how to insert signature/timestamp. --Randannap (talk) 10:06, 11 April 2020 (EDT) (<-- that's what happens)(Randannap!)

Aha. NM about signature. --Randannap (talk) 10:07, 11 April 2020 (EDT)

Good morning, Cathy! Glad you are making progress. I have been bogged down with other projects, so have not had a chance to address your formatting questions. Hope to have some time next week.--Markhild-mym (talk) 10:15, 11 April 2020 (EDT)
